I was going to salvage this section, but decided to replace it when I realized that I didn't have any reference lines left to locate and define the shape of the front apron and nose.
The existing panel was removed....
...cleaned up & straightened
The new pnel was fit into place....
...and the areas to be welded cleaned up.
I aligned the panels...
...and spot welded the top of the panel in place.
I had to do some patching on the sides where the inner fender met the panel
Replaced & primered.
